Born in England during the settled, quietist period of Quakerism, when the Society of Friends had moved from persecution into established stability.

1760s

Called to the Ministry

Acknowledged as a minister among Friends and began her life of itinerant gospel labor, traveling to meetings throughout England.

1770s–1780s

Extensive Travels in the Ministry

Undertook sustained journeys visiting Friends meetings across England and Ireland, strengthening the bonds of fellowship and encouraging faithfulness during a period of quiet consolidation.

Elder Minister

Continued her traveling ministry into her later years, her long experience giving weight and authority to her counsel among Friends.

Death
